Live a unique moment by choosing this out-of-the-ordinary tour that will allow you in one day to get to the region of Yogjakarta in central Java and to discover its most beautiful gems…a condensed history only an hour's flight from Bali. Borobudur and Prambanan are both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Departure from the Villa Mathis early in the morning to catch your flight from Bali to Yogjakarta. En route you will fly over the stunning volcanic area of East Java. On arrival at the airport after a one hour flight (time-change minus one hour), you will be greeted by your guide and set off for the Hindu temple of PRAMBANAN dating from the 9th century, a Hindu sanctuary with 224 temples and eight monuments of great importance. Continue to Mount MERAPI, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, its latest eruption being in November 2010 … You will be able to admire its continuously smoking crater and solidified lava flows, in an almost prehistoric setting of jungle and volcanoes.
The next stop will be BOROBUDUR, where a few kilometres before the actual site, the inhabitants of a Javanese eco-village welcome you with open arms to discover their lifestyle, their habits and their houses which are all open for you to visit …enjoy a ride by horse-drawn carriage through the narrow streets. After lunch, departure for the temple of BOROBUDUR only a few minutes away. One of the great wonders of the world, this site is considered to be the largest Buddhist compound in the world and also dates from the 9th century. From your vantage point at the top, encircled by its many famous stupas, you will be able to survey the surrounding countryside, a moment which will remain forever engraved in your memory. Back to the airport and return flight to Bali. Arrival around 23.00 for a well deserved rest at the Villa Mathis, your mind crammed full of images and memories… to last a life-time !
• Trekking and sunrise on Mount Batur
Departure around 02: 00 - breakfast included
Very early morning start in the direction of Kintamani, located at an altitude of 1200 metres. Trekking with your local guide for two hours to the Summit (1 717 m) to reach the main crater (resulting from the eruption of ’94). You will watch the sunrise in a spectacular volcanic landscape. Weather permitting, you may be able to see Mount Agung and the sea. You will come down around the rear of the crater returning to your hotel late morning.
• Bungee jumping
Departure from the hotel to Seminyak, to prepare you for an unforgettable moment. Alone or in tandem, come and enjoy this experience by the seaside. • Helicopter flight over Uluwatu

Uluwatu means "the head of the stone" and is one of the most spectacular Hindu temples along the Balinese coast. Built in the 11th century by a Hindu high priest from Eastern Java called Dang Hyang Dwijendra, this beautiful temple is located on a limestone cliff 90 metres above the Indian Ocean. During the flight over Jimbaran Bay and the surfing beaches of Dreamland, you will be able to see this ancient temple, deserted beaches, seaweed farms and massive cliffs. Unforgettable memories …
• Helicopter flight over Kintamani

Take-off from the airport heading for the breath-taking volcanic crater of Mount Batur. This crater is what remains of an enormous volcano which exploded thousands of years ago. Lake Batur, the largest lake in Bali, is situated inside this crater and next to a still active volcano. This little volcano is constantly reinventing itself with periodic eruptions of ash and rock. You will explore the sometimes smoking volcano by flying around and above it. Return with views of the many rivers and rice paddies scattered throughout Bali.
